God Put a Smile on Your Face by Coldplay is a song I don’t often listen to but my iPod shuffles it up at the moment I always need it most.
The song itself is very middle of the road. The lyrics explore that God gave you things grace, a smile but what you do with them is up to you.
I firmly believe that we are in control of our lives, the only person that can make you happy is you and so on and so forth. Without getting to “preachy” I just want to say that I love this song because it’s sad if you want to be sad but it’s also very empowering.
